The templates are versions of BYU's Mosaic Templates (version 3) that have been customized to fit the design and theme of the ECEn department. They have also been slightly adjusted to make them easier to use with Frontpage.

The templates are designed to validate against XHTML Transitional, CSS, and Section 508 standards. The templates include links to validators for each of these, but they are commented out by default and aren't visible. If you have written pages that follow any or all of these standards and would like to certify it to the world, feel free to uncomment the HTML code with the validator links. The links can be found at the very bottom of each HTML file; to uncomment them, remove the <!-- and --> tags surrounding them. The validator links will then appear in the blue bar at the bottom of the page.
