Who gets an account on the ECEn mail server?
We will give ECEn mail server accounts to faculty and research students. If anyone else needs one they will have to have a good reason, such as doing research work that requires department specific contact information. Please contact the ECEn SysOps in CB 409 if you need to set up an account.

What is my ECEn email address?
Faculty and research students who request an ECEn email address may choose their ECEn email address name (which doesn't need to match their BYU ID or CAEDM username). If someone chose "johnd", for example, their ECEn email address would be johnd@ee.byu.edu.

Please note that an ECEn email account (@ee.byu.edu) is completely separate from a CAEDM email account (@et.byu.edu). Unless stated otherwise, the information on these pages only applies to ECEn email accounts.

How can I forward my mail to a different address?
To forward mail from your ECEn email account (someone@ee.byu.edu), contact the ECEn SysOps and let them know the address you would like your mail forwarded to. They will make the necessary change. If you want to forward mail from your CAEDM email account (someone@et.byu.edu)you can do so by using the CAEDM Account Manager.
