1. General Description
   1. Argon Ion Laser.
   2. Class IV Laser. Used in Lloyd mirror configuration to create Surface relief fiber Bragg gratings (SR-FBG).
2. Simplified Operating Instructions
   1. Turning on the laser:
      1. Turn on the laser warning light.
      2. Turn on the water.
      3. Turn on the power on the power supply.
      4. Turn on the laser enable key on the power supply
      5. Turn on the laser using the key-pad.
   2. Turning off the laser:
      1. Turn off the laser using the key-pad.
      2. Turn off the laser enable key on the power supply.
      3. Turn off the power.
      4. Turn off the disconnect.
      5. Let water run for a bit and turn off the water.
