ECEn 564 covers the design and performance of modern survellience radar and satellite communication systems. Topics covered during the course include: the radar ambiguity function, modulation, signal detection, link budgets, spread spectrum, system design, and system performance tradeoffs. Issues related to the design of satellite communication systems are discussed.
